I would like to thank Verdine and Phillip for signing my Album Thursday night before the concert at the Peabody in St. Louis on May 11th. I also want to thank the entire group for putting on a show that was non -stop excitement. Great music , high energy and those pipes of Phillips’ were just awesome!

My name is Walt Miller. I’m a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who is well into the autum of my life. I’ve never written to any artists, be they in music or all the other arts. So why am I writing to you? I’m conveying to you that of all the great musicians.i have had the pleasure of listening to, you and the group Earth, Wind and Fire are my favorites. I have listened to you and ETF since the early days when Maurice White was forming the group. Your musical influence has buoyed me through the dzrk periods of my life, especially when I was far from home. As long as I had access to electricity, your music provided my soundscape. From my heart, I wish you and ETF continued success and joy. Wishing you happiness,

    Walt Miller

    Dear Mr. Bailey,

My name is Stephanie, and I live in Denver. I grew up listening to EWF’s music because my dad, Robert, has been a huge fan ever since 1974 when he was in college and first started listening to your music. My dad was diagnosed with ALS in Spring of 2016. Today, his mobility is limited and his speech is becoming more limited daily. My dad means so much to me. Not only is he losing the ability to do everyday tasks, but he is no longer able to do many of the things that bring him joy (golfing, fishing). Even though his life has changed so much, he continues to fight every day. One of the things he can still do is listen to EWF’s music. He has attended every concert in Denver for as long as I can remember. Due to his limited mobility, he was unable to attend the concert this past July and that was very difficult for him. I have reached out to you specifically because my dad and I have always talked about how you live in Denver. I also am a fifth grade teacher in Denver Public Schools, and know that you are a DPS alum. This Sunday (Oct. 1) is the Colorado Walk for ALS. We have a team participating for my dad, he will be there, but of course will not be walking it. I am wondering if you would be able to come to the walk so that my dad could meet you, I know this is a long shot and I know there is a good chance you will probably not be in town this Sunday but I wanted to ask just in case, because I can’t think of anything that would mean more to my dad and bring him more happiness. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Sincerely,

    Stephanie Satrang

When will you all be performing in Juan Les Pins,France or in the UK next? I have bought tickets twice now for the jazz festival and both times the concert has been cancelled, once in 2016 and just last week this year. I’m absolutely gutted! So wanting to come and see you all.
